Liteweb Design is the service brand of Liteweb Enterprise, building digital platforms for Buddhist temples in Malaysia.
Our story
Liteweb Enterprise is a Malaysian software company. We build platforms for Buddhist temples, and we began with a common situation: many temples still handle ceremony registration with handwritten forms and WhatsApp messages, write donation receipts by hand and send reminders one at a time.
There is nothing wrong with these ways of working. But as the number of devotees grows, volunteers spend a great deal of time on repeated tasks, and the records of names and payments are easily lost — and even harder to hand over.
We put that work into one system: devotees register and donate on the website, the system records everything, receipts and reminders go out by email, and committee members see it all in the dashboard. The temple needs no new equipment and no technical work of its own.
We focus on Buddhist temples
- The platform is built for a temple's day-to-day work, with flows that follow how ceremonies and donations are actually handled.
- The interface is primarily in Traditional Chinese, with wording and forms of address that suit a temple.
- Simplicity and clarity guide the design, so older committee members can use it comfortably.
- We take care of the technical side; the temple only provides content and uses the platform day to day.
How we work together
Understanding your needs
We begin by understanding how the temple works today: how ceremonies are registered, how donations are recorded, and who follows up. This usually takes place over a phone call or WhatsApp.
Recommending a plan
Based on the temple's situation, we recommend the Basic or the Advance plan and set out the items included and the fees, so the committee can discuss it at a meeting.
Setup and migration
We set up the website and the dashboard, and organise the materials the temple provides. The temple supplies text and images; the technical work is ours.
Going live
Before launch we review the page content and the registration flow together with the temple. Once both sides confirm, the site opens to the public.
Ongoing maintenance
After launch we take care of maintenance, bug fixes, code updates, hosting and the domain name. The temple can reach us whenever something is needed.
