Frequently asked questions
We already have a Facebook page. Do we still need a website?
A Facebook page is good for announcements, but registration and donation records are hard to keep in order there. On a website, devotees register for ceremonies and make donations online, and the system records the names and amounts automatically. The page can carry on with announcements; the two do not conflict.
Our committee members are older. Will they be able to use it?
The dashboard is designed to be clear, with large text and few steps. Day-to-day tasks are just a few: checking the registration list, reviewing donation records and sending notifications. During setup we go through it together with the committee and provide simple instructions.
Who owns the temple's data?
All content and data belong to the temple. We manage and maintain them on the temple's behalf, and the temple may review its registration lists and donation records at any time. We do not use the data for any other purpose.
Can we stop at any time?
Yes. The platform runs on a monthly fee and the temple does not need a long-term contract. You may tell us to stop at any time, and the monthly fee ends there.
What payment methods are accepted?
For Liteweb's own fees, you may pay by credit or debit card (via Stripe) or by bank transfer. For donations from devotees, the platform is connected to the Stripe and PayPal payment gateways, so donations can be made online by card.
How soon can we go live?
Usually 14–30 days, depending on how quickly the temple provides materials and feedback. If the text and images arrive early and reviews are answered promptly, launch can be sooner.
