A Buddhist temple in San Mateo, California needed a real home online: a place where families could learn about ceremonies, register to attend, make offerings, and manage their own records — in English and Traditional Chinese alike.
We designed and built the complete site on the Liteweb platform, and we host and maintain it today.
Live site · Sabah, Malaysia
A True Buddha School temple in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah needed a modern home for its dharma activities — one their Chinese-speaking community would feel at home in. The site runs in Traditional Chinese, with English available as the temple grows into it.
Families register online for ceremonies — choosing blessing (祈福) or deliverance (超度) tiers and adding names for dedication — support campaigns such as the 十萬尊勝塔 pagoda fund, and manage their giving and registration history in member accounts. Temple staff run everything from the admin panel, and we host and maintain the site.
Inside the build
On bilingual builds, every public page is authored in English and 繁體中文 side by side, with a one-click switcher — never a half-translated page. Chinese-first temples can start in 繁中 and add languages as the community grows.
Each ceremony has its own page with date, location, and tiers. Families register online, add names and dedications, and staff watch a live roster fill in — no phone tag, no spreadsheets.
Donation campaigns with preset amounts and secure checkout. Receipts go out automatically, and every gift lands in the donor's history in their member account.
Families sign in to review their registration and giving history and update their own details — self-service that quietly removes work from the temple's front desk.
Temple staff publish ceremonies, announcements, and campaigns from a clean admin panel — everyday updates need no developer in the loop.
Both temples run on our high-performance hosting with daily backups and monitoring. Updates, security, and support are all part of the same monthly plan.
