Design & build
A calm, dignified website tailored to your temple — ceremony pages, teachings, announcements, and everything your community needs, in your languages.
Website design for modern temples — liteweb.my
Liteweb Design builds your temple's website and looks after everything that keeps it online — hosting, your domain, and ongoing maintenance. Ceremony registration, online donations, and member accounts built in. One team, one monthly plan.
What we do
No plugins to wrangle, no five vendors to coordinate. One thoughtful build, cared for by one team.
A calm, dignified website tailored to your temple — ceremony pages, teachings, announcements, and everything your community needs, in your languages.
Fast, secure hosting with SSD servers, CDN delivery, HTTPS, and daily backups. Donation and registration pages stay quick — even during festival seasons.
Your temple's own address on the internet — registered, configured, and renewed for you, with professional email, so it never lapses.
Updates, security patches, backups, and content edits — plus a clean admin panel your staff and volunteers can use for everyday changes themselves.
Built for temples
Purpose-built features for sangha life — not generic plugins bolted onto a blog.
No phone calls, no paper forms. Each ceremony gets its own page — families register online in their language and add names and dedications, while staff simply watch the live roster fill in. Ceremonies close and archive themselves automatically, so no one has to remember to take a page down.
Campaign pages with preset amounts and secure payments. Receipts go out automatically in the donor's own language, and every gift appears in their member account — no more paper ledgers.
Families sign in to review their registration and giving history, manage participants, and update details themselves — with names saved for one-tap reuse next ceremony, no retyping. Self-service that quietly lifts work off the front desk.
Every public page authored in both languages side by side, with a one-click switcher. Fully localized — never a half-translated page that confuses either generation.
How it works
A calm, clear process. You always know what happens next — and what it costs.
A short conversation about your temple, your community, and the content you already have.
We tailor one of our professional templates, load your ceremonies and content, and refine together until it's right.
Review the finished site, request final changes, and we put it live on your temple's own domain.
Hosting, maintenance, and support continue month after month. You look after the temple; we look after the website.

Our work
Every Liteweb build starts from a proven foundation and is tailored until it's unmistakably yours.
Live site · California, USA
A bilingual (English / Traditional Chinese) website for a Buddhist temple in San Mateo — ceremony registration, secure donations with instant receipts, member accounts, and a clean admin panel the staff use every day.
Live site · Sabah, Malaysia
A Chinese-first (Traditional) website for a True Buddha School temple in Kota Kinabalu — families register for ceremonies with blessing and deliverance tiers, support campaigns such as the 100,000 Usnisa Vijaya pagoda fund, and manage their records in member accounts.
Live demo
A full demo of our temple platform is open to everyone at temple.liteweb.my. It's built on the same platform as the project above — browse the bilingual pages, ceremony listings, and giving features at your own pace.
Why Liteweb
Most agencies hand you a website and disappear. We stay — so your volunteers never become IT staff.
A flat monthly plan instead of surprise invoices and hourly billing. The temple committee can budget it once a year and forget it.
Clean page structure, proper meta tags, sitemaps, and fast load times — the fundamentals search engines reward.
Email info@liteweb.my and get a reply from the same people who built your site — usually within two business days.
FAQ
Most temple sites go live within two to four weeks of our first conversation. The timeline depends mostly on how quickly content and feedback come in — we keep the build itself moving briskly.
Everything needed to get your temple online: discovery and sitemap, tailored design on our template platform, building every page, loading your ceremonies and content in your languages, domain and hosting configuration, and launch itself. It's a one-time fee per website.
Languages. Essential ($50/month) covers a complete temple site in one language; Duo ($150/month) covers the same site fully in two — most temples choose English plus Traditional or Simplified Chinese, so both generations feel at home. Hosting, domain, backups, maintenance, and support are included in both. Custom builds are quoted individually.
Yes — many temples launch the website and online donations first, switch on ceremony registration ahead of a major ceremony season, and grow into member features from there. The platform supports the whole journey; you set the pace.
Yes. Ceremonies, announcements, and donation campaigns are managed from a clean admin panel — no code, no developer needed for everyday updates. And when you want help, we're an email away.
Your domain is registered for you and yours to keep, and your content always belongs to the temple. If you ever leave, we'll hand over everything and help with the transition — no hostage-taking.
